Where light becomes water

About me

I'm Marieta. With water I paint what the island teaches me to look at slowly.

I started painting during long Formentera evenings, when the light on whitewashed walls seemed to ask to be kept somewhere. Since then every watercolour begins with the same gesture: looking slowly and letting the water do the rest.
